On July 4, 2025, the China (Sichuan) - Bavaria Economic, Trade, Cultural and Tourism Cooperation Exchange Conference was held in Munich, gathering over 100 key enterprises and business associations from both sides. A total of 33 projects were signed at the event, with a cumulative value exceeding 908.2 million RMB, covering goods trade, service trade, industrial investment, cultural tourism, traditional Chinese medicine and other fields. Zhao Lei, Executive Director of LEI Reich, was invited to attend the conference.

During this trip, LEI Reich established a new China-Germany strategic cooperation partnership. Taking Germany's dual-system vocational training as a bridge, the company will further advance the cultivation of professional and technical talents in both countries. Adhering to the principles of "technical standardization, talent localization and innovation coordination", it will connect the industries and talents of the two sides, play a core role in boosting economic and trade cooperation between Sichuan Province and Bavaria, and help usher in a new chapter of the all-round China-Germany strategic partnership.
Against the backdrop of China-Germany friendship, economic and trade exchanges between Sichuan and Germany have grown increasingly close. Data shows that bilateral trade volume has seen an average annual growth of 7.8% in the past five years. In 2024, the trade volume between Sichuan and Germany reached 26.01 billion RMB, a year-on-year increase of 5.6%. In the first five months of 2025, the bilateral import and export volume hit 10.42 billion RMB, with the year-on-year growth rate rising further to 10.1%. To date, more than 180 German-invested enterprises have been set up in Sichuan, making Germany an important EU trading partner and investment source for the province.
The upgraded strategic cooperation projects of LEI Reich will support Sichuan in building itself into a national highland for vocational education, and also help Bavarian enterprises and German enterprises in China select high-quality professional and technical talents that meet German vocational training standards.
Connecting Bavaria and Sichuan through vocational education is a key step for LEI Reich to further promote the development of vocational education. Going forward, the company will stay true to its original aspiration and forge ahead with perseverance.
